Dear Visitor,

Welcome to the website of vzw Steenen Muur. Here, you’ll find everything you need to know about Wezemaal’s viticulture.

Since 1996, our vzw Steenen Muur has been actively working to restore Wezemaal to its former glory as a wine village. Thanks to the support of the municipality of Rotselaar and the members of our association, we have already made great strides. Everyone is always welcome in our beautifully renovated wine cellar, located under the “Visitor Center of Hageland Wine” at Kerkstraat 16, Wezemaal, for a delightful glass of wine.

This isn’t your typical French wine but an authentic Wezemaal wine, crafted from the vineyards we’ve planted ourselves on the slopes of the Wezemaal hills. Additionally, we regularly highlight Hageland wine and viticulture. On these special occasions, the wine cellar is open to anyone who wishes to sample a glass of wine.

We also open our wine cellar for groups of at least 10 people for cozy wine tastings. You can find more information about this under the section Wine Cellar / Wine Tastings.
